Will Moseley on the Set of ‘The Selection’

A couple months ago, Will Moseley was cast in the TV adaptation of ‘The Selection,’ based on the book of the same name by Kiera Cass.

Yesterday, Gymfan15 sent me some pictures she found online of Will hanging out on set. To say we almost didn’t recognize him would be an exaggeration, but Will has grown up a good deal since his Narnia days. Check out the pictures on Zimbio here.

Thanks Gymfan15!

The new haircut and facial hair, pointier chin, definitely just growing up. I kinda think he looks perfect right now for a King Peter in HHB.

  2. Michael says:

As I was reading up on it, William is playing the secret love, very cool.

  3. Sarah says:

Wow. True, he is recognizable, but I was still expecting him to look very young. Certainly getting older. I certainly don't have a crush, but I can safely say he is certainly turning out very handsome.

  4. Sarah says:

You're right, he is looking perfect for a King Peter! 🙂

  5. Eustace says:

He looks very different from the last time we saw him in Narnia I think it is the hair.

  6. Fireflower says:

I had to do a double take to recognize Will in these pictures! I think the Narnia people had better start thinking HHB and LB…

  7. Ariel_of_Narnia says:

His face looked more familiar in a couple pictures than in others.
*faux sniffle* My dear Peter's all grown up….

  8. Just Queen, not High Queen says:

Oh my gosh!!!! He looks so much older!

  9. Thee Narnian Meerkat says:

Awesome!!!! WOW he's all grown up!!!!! :')

  10. Narnian Jet says:

Oh! He grew up! At least he looks handsome (unlike some actors I have known……) But now is not the time to become a Mary Su. Wink wink

  11. Aslan's BFF says:

Oh, totally. Thanks for reminding me!

  12. Yes, I was a little sad when he started changing his "style", but now I actually like him again. He definitely has grown up, but looks good–and certainly looks perfect for King Peter as a man. 🙂 I have to laugh though, because I saw this a few days before NarniaWeb made a note about it, and so I was thinking that I actually found a new fact to tell NarniaWeb and get credited for it. haha. Oh well. Glad it's up. 😉

  13. Yeah, I thought so too. He looks more like himself without the sunglasses I think. You can really tell it's him when he's smiling. 🙂 It just shows though how long I've know about him! Jeez! He was the same age as me when he first started! hahaha

I can recognise him in the "walking to set" photos, ref numbers 40+. There is very much a look of the old Will, especially when he smiles.

  15. farsight-mssngr says:

    Great looks!
I think he will now better and Perfectly suit for not just king Peter, but High King Peter The Magnificent! in The Horse and His Boy and in The Last Battle movies!
    Further Up and Further In!

  16. Matt says:

He looks like a young Chris Nolan.

  17. VFK says:

    O.O he's a hunk….. *cough* sorry, I always liked him, but now… he's like…. whoa….

  18. DLC says:

    Holy cow! That's William?!!!

  19. Matthias of Redwall says:

Yay! His hair doesn't look like a wet mop anymore!

  20. Aslan's BFF says:

    …and it's a normal color (not red!)!

  21. Freya says:

Well, High King Peter doesn't really appear in HHB, at least not in the book. But I'm sure the movie makers could work around that.

  22. Freya says:

Well, the Narnia stars seem to like "The Hunger Games". According to the Zimbio site William Moseley went to see the film at March 25th in Vancouver, and according to benbarnesfan.com, Ben saw it the same day, also in Vancouver. Funny coincidence.

  23. narnian resident says:

he's like the next Leonardo Dicaprio!! :-O

  24. queenemma says:

W.O.W. certainly very High Kingish!!! but I prefer Skandar……

  25. Susan the Believer says:

Oh wow! Will looks so much older compared to when he was in the first movie!! His boyishness is totally gone. Now he seems far gone from Peter Pevensie. :C

  26. EdmundPevensie for EverMore says:

And yet nothing on Perfect sisters or the pics of Skandar st college. Unfortunately i read somewhere that the Selection didn't get picked for tv shows this fall.

  27. WillMo_forthewin says:

The CW did not pick up "The Selection" for their fall line-up. It has been said that it was underwhelming. However, The CW president said that they are reconsidering the project. That means they are re-writing the script and recast some actors. (There were comments that the pilot show lacked budget for sci-fi effects and it was poorly executed. Others blamed it for undeliverable lines and a bad acting from the lead actress.)

I hope they don't recast William but in my opinion he deserves better projects. I'd bet he'll be better if he stars in a show in BBC/Channel 4/ITV! A fan can only wish!

  28. Varnafinde says:

I think he looks more like Peter from LWW than the older Peters we've seen in the two other films. He's an adult version of the Peter from the first Battle of Beruna – and I think this is an improvement of the intermediate versions.

Now give him a part in a really good project!

  29. O.o says:

Mmm, King? Yes. High king? Yes. But… Some thin' missing, I love his old haircut ;(

  30. O.o says:

BTW, 2018. Are you really sure?!
