Video: The Dawn Treader Rocks
NarniaWeb Spy Tamara has uploaded two more videos of the Dawn Treader set at Cleveland Point. The first one shows the ship slowly rocking back and forth in front of a large blue screen:
Another shows Ben Barnes and Skandar Keynes being sprayed with water, which Tamara also described in a recent report. Is Caspian wet after diving in to save Lucy, Edmund, and Eustace?

Hmmm, in the second picture, Skandar appears to be wearing something that could be an English jacket, so perhaps it IS right after they've fallen through the painting. Even if it's not, exciting to see bits of filming!
I wish so bad, I could get on a plane to Australia right now, I don't care if I'm there for just one hour and then fly back home. I just want to see The Dawn Treader!!!! The scene looks like to jumped from the book's pages. Can't wait for more info:)

video#1: you cant imagine the thrill i felt seeing that beautiful large ship MOVING! despite the cranes and the tents and the big blue screen seeing the Dawn Treader move is enough for me to imagine what she could be like in open waters. beautiful! thanks so much for posting this!
video#2: really the attention to detail, must make sure that beard is dripping wet too lol! but theres a slight breeze and Ben and Skandar are soaked to the bone, must really feel the chill despite the strong sun. one of the less glamorous moments of being an actor 😉
Looks great! My roomie thinks I'm crazy for liking spoilers. And I couldn't watch them with any sound because she's asleep. Oh, well, I'll watch it again tomorrow…It's so great that we can actually get spies in to watch the filming!! They were so secretive when making PC, it was impossible to get any pictures of filming.
It looks to me like Skandar has a blanket wrapped around him. It makes sense that Edmund would be offered a warm blanket after coming out of the cold water.
I love the first video, seeing the ship rock back and forth. Really cool!
The last video is annoying though with the photos being taken as it's recorded. Also, I wonder why they don't ask the audience to be quiet once they start shooting. Feels a bit unnecessary to shoot with the the sound of kids playing in the background when you have the option to do it whitout.
I'm going to have to watch them when I get the chance! But I'm glad to see that there's more news on VDT! SAIL ON VDT!!!

The slightly rocking VDT in video#1 finally makes me feel more "real" that the film is turely on progress. And in video#2, it seems to me that Skandar looks very alike as he shown on the film of Caspian.
It's nice to learn more about the latest work, though, and more filming progress I know day by day, the harder I can wait to see VDT on theater:)

the blanket is given to him when the cameras arent rolling. its the same for Ben and Georgie (based on earlier photos). but when cameras roll its blankets off.
lol dont worry, the ship deck is actually quite far away and that high up that the ambient noise from the crowd doesnt reach them. the photos and videos make it appear like they're near because these are on zoom mode. truthfully the equipment used by these intrepid Narnia fans are quite impressive 🙂
and remember this is an outdoor shoot, 90% of the time they re-record dialog in post production.

ok i thought you were referring to the blue blankets with the insulation like what i saw earlier. the brown ones are part of the film, but Edmund has one as well as Lucy.

I'm dying to see a trailer I'm assuming one will probably come out Decemberish, but that's just an assumption.

We are watching the actual filming of this movie as it happens! Almost real time! I'm sorry, I'm in disbelief, and so very happy!
Generally movie trailers are not released a year before the movie comes out. I'm expecting we will see the trailer attached to some of next summer's blockbusters.
Wow wow that is incredible! To imagine seeing all this behind the scenes and in the making stuff, then see it on the big screen and realize "wow, I saw them filming thios part!" Oo can't wait till this is out! Yay!

Love the videos! I also think it's hilarious how Georgie disappears when the boat rocks upward, but Skandar and Ben (esp. Ben) are tall enough to avoid being obscured. Wish I could be there.

The Dawn Treader rocks! Lol. It's so cool how they are able to make such a huge structure roll back and forth like that! I don't know – has this been done before in the filming of other movies?

Man, I wish Ben would shave his beard, it just doesnt fit his character right, hes twice Caspians age, and has straight dark hair, the exact opposite of what hes supposed to be!

I know there isn't an obvious video that says Skandar injured him, but I thought it might've happened during that swordfight we saw recently. It was the two of them evidently performing a stunt, and then in the middle of it somebody says "and cutting…" I just assumed that was kinda when it happened!
